At Rentora Car Rental Mongolia, we understand that travel plans don’t always go as expected. Whether it’s a change in your flight, a shift in your schedule, or an unforeseen situation, we’ve designed a simple and transparent process to help you cancel or modify your reservation with ease. Our goal is to ensure that every customer has complete flexibility and peace of mind when booking with us.

How to Cancel Your Reservation

You can cancel your reservation at any time before your scheduled pickup date through multiple channels. The easiest way to cancel is via our official website, by logging into your account and navigating to the “My Bookings” section. Alternatively, you may contact our customer support team via phone or email, or visit your nearest Rentora branch in person. Please make sure to have your booking reference number, name, and pickup date ready to help us process your request quickly and accurately.

Once your cancellation request is received, you will receive a confirmation email verifying that your reservation has been successfully canceled. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact our support team to ensure your request has been processed properly.

Cancellation Period and Charges

Rentora offers a flexible cancellation policy to make sure you don’t lose money unnecessarily. If you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, you will be eligible for a full refund with no cancellation fees.

However, if your cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, a one-day rental charge will apply as a cancellation fee. This charge covers administrative and vehicle preparation costs.

If you fail to show up at the pickup location without prior notice (a “no-show”), the reservation will be canceled automatically, and the same one-day rental fee will be applied. Rentora reserves the right to release the vehicle to another customer after two hours of the scheduled pickup time if no contact is made.

Refund Policy

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed within 5–10 business days after the cancellation confirmation. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used during booking. Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take a few additional days for the amount to appear in your account.

Refunds are only applicable to prepaid bookings. For cash payments or deposits made at the branch, refunds must be collected directly from the branch where the reservation was made. If the cancellation involves third-party payment platforms or agents, their refund policies may also apply.

Modifying an Existing Reservation

If you prefer to modify rather than cancel your booking, Rentora allows you to make changes to your reservation, such as pickup time, vehicle category, or location, up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup. Modifications are subject to vehicle availability and current rental rates.

If your modification results in a higher rental cost, the difference will be charged at the time of the update. If your change results in a lower cost, the difference will be refunded according to our refund policy timelines.

Non-Refundable Reservations

Some special offers and promotional rates are listed as non-refundable at the time of booking. These reservations cannot be canceled or modified once confirmed. In such cases, no refunds or credit vouchers will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or early returns. Customers are advised to review the terms of their booking before final confirmation to ensure full understanding of any restrictions that may apply.

Early Returns and Partial Refunds

If you decide to return your vehicle before the scheduled end date of your rental period, Rentora does not guarantee refunds for the unused rental days. However, in certain cases – such as emergencies or verified travel changes – management may issue a partial refund or credit voucher for future use at its discretion. All early return refund requests must be made in writing to our customer service department.
